Check out the new historical archive site for the Round Lake Area Public Library. This site has some really cool pictures of past events, our current building under construction in the late ‘80s, and several familiar faces. We will be adding many more pictures as they are submitted. Special thanks goes out to Gail Wirtz and Nichole Watson for scanning in and setting up the site and to two former trustees, Carole Shook and Thyra DeBolt for filling in some missing information. One Week Left For Reuse-A-Shoe!

There is only one week left to bring us your old athletic shoes for Nike’s Reuse-A-Shoe recycling, or your gently used shoes to donate to a charity that helps people in need. Drop off is easy — simply place your donations in the donation box in the vestibule of the library and we will sort them and drop them off at SWALCO, which will deliver the shoes to both recycling programs. Last day for dropping off shoes at the library is April 30th!
