ChildServ of Lake County
Provides childcare services for the Family Literacy Program and provides volunteer teachers for the citizenship preparation program.
College of Lake County – Family Literacy Partnership
The library partners with the College of Lake County and ChildServ of Waukegan to provide English classes to parents, while their children learn and develop pre-literacy skills through structured childcare activities. District 116 School District
The library partners with the schools and its teachers throughout the year to provide materials for special projects/assignments and/or special reference assistance to the students. Teachers may contact Debbie Allen at (847) 546-7060, ext. 129. Our library staff is also available to promote literacy and library services at school and community events. Home School Support

Mano a Mano Family Resource Center
The library hosts a spanish seminar series featuring health topics and other topics of interest. The library also hosts Spanish GED classes and health educator training classes.
Together for Childhood Network
Provides continuing education and facilitation of certification as a high-quality childcare educator
United Way of Lake County
Early Learning Club & Little Learner Parties presented by Mano a Mano.
