Library Board President - Anne K. Richmond

Anne got her first library card at age 3 when she was able to write her name on her card. Anne worked as a Shelver at the Davenport Public Library in high school (where she was occasionally scolded for reading the books she was supposed to shelve). Anne moved to Hainesville in 2003 and lives with her husband, Douglas Williams. Anne works for the Housing Authority of Cook County. Anne spends her free time crafting, sewing and woodworking and usually finds inspiration in books from the library.
Library Board Vice President - Sherry Perkowitz

Sherry has lived in the Round Lake Area for the last 20 years. She is a Waukegan High School teacher, has served with the Grayslake Lions and the Lake County Medical Reserve Corp. She raises and trains future guide dogs for Leader Dogs for the Blind. Sherry is excited to explore new library programs and events, now as a Grandma!

I grew up in Grayslake, currently residing in Round Lake Beach. Over the years work in both the public and private sectors. Worked as a legislative assistant for Illinois State Senator for four years. My job their was to go through all of constituents' correspondence, set up meeting, attend event, etc...I'm currently a field technician for a gaming company. I deal with customer services. My other past duties were to process all incoming revenues. And make sure that every dollar was accounted for. Also have constantly volunteered for our very community including serving/chairing the Avon Township Finance Committee, and volunteering for the LGBTQ+ Center of Lake County. I've also done other volunteer work in our community. With all of my volunteer activities. In February of 2025, the Village of Round Lake Beach had awarded me the Community Ambassador Awards.
Library Board Trustee - Brittany Kearby

Brittany and her husband, Reed, along with their son, enjoy walking to the library. They would go to make a guess for ‘Who’s that Pokémon’, and also to put a Pokemon at the gym in Pokemon Go. Both of them were lucky enough to have their guess be correct and win. With her nose stuck in a book, Brittany loves to read. In between being a mom and working as a store manager in retail, Brittany reads about 30 books a year. She moved to Round Lake in 2021.
