Thank You For Saving Lives!
HOPE. a simple word yet it means so much to someone in need. Donating blood is a simple act that helps save lives. In behalf of the library and the American Red Cross, I thank all the donors who came out to the blood drive on January 17. The American Red Cross collected 17 units of blood. Each unit has the potential to save 3-4 lives. Special thanks goes to our community partner Culver’s of Grayslake, who donated coupons for a free pint of their famous frozen custard to presenting donors.
